You Do Not Need the Largest Box to Join In
The September 30th Celebration wave includes smaller products with different guaranteed cards. All three formats below launched on 16 September 2026 in Pokémon’s official announcement. Their suitability depends on your actual shop price and collecting goal, not simply the size of the packaging.
Tech Sticker Collection: Pick a Character
The Tech Sticker Collection contains three anniversary boosters, a foil promo featuring Alolan Exeggutor or Lucario, and a corresponding sticker sheet. Confirm which version the retailer will send: “one collection” can mean a randomly allocated design.
This format makes sense if you want that particular promo and enjoy the stickers. If you want both versions, track them separately so you do not accidentally buy the same design twice.
Poster Collection: Legendary Birds and Display Art
The Poster Collection includes three anniversary boosters, foil promos featuring Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, and a poster showing images of over 160 cards from the expansion.
The poster is an accessory, not an official promise that the pack contents will cover those cards. If displaying it, avoid direct sunlight and separate the trading cards from the poster rather than leaving them loose in the box.
Knock Out Collection: Eevee and Two Packs
The Knock Out Collection contains a foil Eevee card, a plastic coin, and two anniversary boosters. Note the source’s distinction: it describes a foil Eevee card, whereas the other products explicitly describe promo cards. Do not invent promo exclusivity or rarity from the packaging name.
A Simple Value Comparison
Write down each delivered price and divide by the number of boosters: three for Sticker, three for Poster, and two for Knock Out. Then consider whether you personally want the guaranteed cards and accessories.
A slightly higher cost per pack can still be reasonable if it buys a favourite promo. Conversely, an unwanted poster should not be assigned a speculative resale value just to justify spending more.
Make a Fixed Opening Plan
Choose a total budget first. Smaller boxes are easy to purchase repeatedly, so “just one more” can cost more than the original larger-box option. Keep a checklist of guaranteed cards owned and decide whether missing singles would serve your goal better than repeat product purchases.
For gifts, choose the character or display accessory the recipient would enjoy. None of these products promises unusually favourable pulls or a financial return.
